Join us for an epic journey and experience the majesty of the Southwest through the lens of its legendary art and textiles.

Come with us to discover the magnificent landscapes of the Southwest, a realm rich in colorful, diverse textiles and extraordinary history. We'll begin our journey in historic Durango, Colorado where we learn from various renowned historians about the hundreds of years of textiles from prehistoric design to Navajo weaving to the Rio Grande tradition. From here, we journey south into northern New Mexico where the art of weaving thrives on walking looms brought by the Spaniards in the 1500's. We'll visit the home of Georgia O'Keeffe and stay amongst the stunning red rocks surrounding Abiquiu. Our journey will end in Santa Fe, the artist's Mecca of the Southwest where we will weave for three days. One day will be spent meeting the 7th generation of weavers of Chimayo.
